Ice Rink
Let's get some Olympic ice skaters! I was brought up in Nottingham with Torvill & Dean mania.
There are barely any ice rinks in the south east - Alexandra Palace, Streatham and Guildford.
It would provide a huge draw for Kingston and complement all the other wonderful sports available in the area as the success of all the temporary Christmas ice rinks in London/Surrey have shown - most of which are overcrowded when open.
Why the contribution is important
Supports an under represented sport and recreational activity.
Another opportunity to increase heath and wealth.
Provides a USP to make Kingston a more attractive place to live.
