Landscaping/pleasure garden Fairfield

To create a sensory pleasure garden in one part of Fairfield. An interactive pleasure garden that adults and children can wander through ensuring a meaningful connection with nature. This project would further help support wildlife, the environment and deepen peoples connection to nature which is especially important for the next generation. I envisage it as a place for people to heal, learn and connect.

Why the contribution is important

To sustain wildlife and the environment. To develop a connection to nature especially for the next generation. To offer  a healing sanctuary to improve mental health.

    Agree
Fairfield is an environmental desert of monoculture grass
Could have a small orchard, landscaped area, more hedges and trees, without sacrificing useful sports fields

    A splendid suggestion.
Whilst the playing fields on the Fairfield are well used and appreciated, it is a bit of a desert otherwise. Such a scheme could complement the rebuilt Kingfisher and the proposed little café that might be provided within the pavilion/changing rooms.
This idea is much more sympathetic to the Fairfield as an open space than the excessive suggestion of heavy lighting floated recently.
