Padel court

Build a new Padel Court, or convert an existing tennis court to Padel, at Canbury Gardens.
Could also build or paint a Pickleball court.

Padel is the fastest growing sport in the world, and the success of the court at the YMCA has shown how much demand there is for the sport. The tennis courts and area around them provide a central hub of activity which improves the overall quality of the area and improves health and wellbeing to local residents. Continuing to expand the facilities further improves the local offering.

Pickleball is a age friendly, low impact sport which is suitable for all ages, but particular helpful in keeping the older generations fit. A pickleball court is reasonably inexpensive to install.
