To refurbish the cycle lane along the river from Canbury Gardens to John Lewis

The Cycle path along the river(shared by cyclists and pedestrians) by The Boaters and Canbury Gardens has large tree trunk roots and potholes. It is dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists. I have noted that a great deal of money has been spent making the cycle/pedestrian path on the surbiton side of Kingston whereas the paths and footways on the North Kingston side of the river do need to be repaired. 

It is important for pedestrians and cyclists safety. There are two pathways along the river and neither are very good given the amount of pedestrian and cyclists that use the paths.
