End of The Rat Run

I live in Van Dyck Avenue, which has an abnormal amount of fast moving traffic in the mornings and evenings. I had presented a petition signed by the residents of Van Dyck Avenue, and Gainsborough Road, to the Borough Engineer, and spent  over two years trying for our road entrances to be narrowed at both ends, to put us on the same level as other parallel roads. Pre -covid we were told that funds were allocated for this, however, I have to date (31/10/24 ) nor received any notification from him.   Younger families are moving into the area,  I hope that someone younger takes up this matter with Borough's traffic Dept., to reduce the traffic going thru these two roads.
