New Maldong / K Town

Make more of NMs Korean / Asian branding to promote it as a destination. People who know, know.  But for all the time I've lived here I've had to explain to others I work with or meet from other parts of London (a) where NM is And (b) its special identity as home of the Korean population.  We could do more to present and brand NM for this special connection and make it more of a destination - for example London's China Town is not just another street but is obviously different and special.  We also have a bit of a "Little Sri Lanka" area in Burlington Road that could be promoted as a destination.  

Distinctiveness, business and community development, pride. It's a great success that there is no racial tension and British residents welcome and enjoy the presence of these immigrant populations here.
