Chessington Equestrian Centre

The area surrounding the Dell and the equestrian centre is subject to over 150 enforcement orders to clear the rubbish and illegal dwellings and businesses in that area. These must be enforced and the area returned to the greenbelt.

Why the contribution is important

This area has become an eyesore and a health hazzard, avoided and ignored by the council for many years.

In keeping with all the wording in the vision statement, this green corridor should be restored to rude health, and certainly not developed into a sprawling high rise and high density housing development as an alternate to the present mess.

This area between the A3 and Clayton Road should be kept as Green Belt for the wildlife.

There are numerous animals living there, many of them protected species.

Any enforcement orders should be dealt with.

No to Poppy Mills developments. 2,000 residential units do not belong here.
