Hook Parade - Bring back Christmas

Bring back our Christmas Lights and Tree, make Hook a place to celbrate Christmas in 2026 and beyond, not forgotten like it has become in 2025. 

Sadly Hook looks very subdued compared to it's neighbours. Travel through Kingston, Surbiton, Esher, Claygate, Ewell, Tolworth, and then you get to Chessington, the forgoton town. 

At Christmas we used to have a tree, we even used to have lights. Apparently the funding has all been used on other things, understandable but a real shame. It makes the place look desolate and run down at a time that it should be festive, bright and attractive. 

School children should be singing thier carols infront of the tree.....not outside Tesco.

Maybe the CWoA could be approached for some appropriate contributions.
