Re-establish the dirt track in 60 acre wood.
Living in Barwell Lane we now have a problem with youngsters using electric bikes up Winey Hill. Breaking down fences to get to the old dirt track , in 60 acre Wood, made by kids years ago, and now fenced off by Chessington World of Adventures. These youngsters are not harming anyone and some of the bikes are being hired out by?? .If access to this dirt track was made easier and perhaps an organisation set up with maybe help from the Motorbike Met Police to instruct riding and safe mechanics for the bikes. We have no Youth Clubs anymore to attract 14-18 year olds and complain about their behaviour. They are BORED!
Why the contribution is important
The Youth of today do not get enough exciting exercise in a safe environment and cost very little. Get them off their screens . This dirt track was originally used for BMX cycles. Why not also use it for pedal bikes resurrected from all those bikes at the recycling centre. Have different sessions for different ages. Teach kids the repair and mechanical upkeep of bikes. Might get them into cycling instead of all trying to drive cars at 18.
