Community Center / Youth Club

A Community Center / Warm Hub for older adults and non-workers to relax, socialise, and find a sense of belonging.

An after school Youth Club with a Skate Park. A safe, inclusive spot where youth can unwind, build friendships, and just be teens. With an additional focus on teens mental health and wellbeing through talk therapy. 

 

Why the contribution is important

The overarching importance is to reduce isolation, reduce mental health challenges, combat loneliness and isolation, by fostering community based support and connections, within the heart of the community.

    I think there are 3 separate ideas here. A community centre, skate park and youth club. May I suggest you submit them separately. I agree with 2 but not the skate park.

    I think this is a good idea. When I was young I had access to many youth clubs (This was in Harwich, Essex). I found them a great place to go after school and I am sure they kept me out of trouble.
