Extend 65 bus to Surbiton Station

I don't know whether this is the right forum for this suggestion, but I would like to see the 65 bus run to Surbiton station during the daytime, instead of terminating at Brook Street.

It will improve access to Surbiton station for residents elsewhere in the borough. This will additionally bring more people to Surbiton's shops, pubs and restaurants and help it thrive. It will ease pressure on housing in Surbiton as the station becomes accessible from further afield. It will give Surbiton residents easy access to the District line at Richmomd and to other transport links via Richmond (and Ealing) and provide public transport access to Kew Gardens from Surbiton.
These longer, better connected bus routes should be a core part of designing a more useful, integrated public transport system that works better for all of us. I would love to drive less, and connections like this will help make that a reality. The 65 should be a relatively easy route to start with.
