Improve the inside hall of Surbiton station

Surbiton station inside hall feels like a big empty space.

Why not add some benches or similar to fill it up and make it nicer?

Why the contribution is important

It would make our already beautiful station even nicer

Agree. A few of the "old style" waiting room benches around the walls would be a great place to meet and have a chat, before catching the train. To be kept in keeping with the style of the station facade.

The new mosaics are a great addition. This suggestion will further impove the space, but I would advocate that any additions.changes are not just practical - like seating - but also aesthetic. This is a veyr important building to Surbiton and should be treated as a space that deserves design consideration.
