The Surbiton Neighbourhood Community plan was created using ideas which were submitted by people who live, work or study in Surbiton. The plan is used by the Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee to help it make improvements in the area and in particular how funding from the Community Grant Programme is used.
The Surbiton Community plan is now almost three years old and we need your help to update it. We want to hear about projects and ideas which you think would improve Surbiton and should be given grant funding.
What’s our vision?
Our vision it to make Surbiton an even better place to live, work and study by engaging with communities on local projects that improve our health and wellbeing.
We want to hear from you if you have a suggestion or project that helps to:
- develop, promote and enhance Surbiton’s parks, streets and open spaces
- implement an innovative local project which would benefit and attract residents and businesses into the area
- encourage the setting up and maintenance of community hubs and forums, ‘Friends of’ groups and resident associations
